Sleek Blush By 3 Palette in Rekindling Review
Sleek is a new drugstore brand in the US- but an older brand for the UK and other countries around the world as well.
So the actual blushes in this palette are pretty interesting. It has 2 powder blushes and a cream blush in the middle. The cream blush isn't covered or protected by anything... but the blushes don't really have a lot of fallout... I've used mine several times and never had an issue with it. They're all in the coral-y family. The darkest powder blush reminds me of Nars Orgasm- it has some shimmer in it and it just looks really pretty and gives a nice orange flush of color. The lighter color also has shimmer in it and is kind of a light version of that other powder blush... it looks good as a blush on it's own or on top of the other blush that looks more like Nars Orgasm.
I think this is a really nice versatile palette... The one lighter color you can use as a blush topper type of highlight if you use the darker powder blush. You could just use it on its own for a nice subtle blush. The cream blush can be really nice and subtle if you want- or it could be a little bolder. Creams kind of last long and if you put a powder on top of it it'll last even longer. It's just a nice little versatile trio.
The packaging is really nice too... it is actually very sleek. It's small and compact but you still get a mirror and a good amount of product. This would definitely be great to travel with and it's easy to reach for. You could definitely use this as an all in one palette for everyday.
So... it's a great little drugstore palette. I think maybe it's a little too expensive in the US... Yeah it is like $14 in the US... that's a little too much for what this is... You aren't getting tons of product in it and it is a good quality... but if it were like $7 I think that would be worth it... I just feel weird now looking at this when it's like... Ohhh if I just paid a few dollars more I could have gotten a tarte blush or something. Obviously they have coupons for this and deals... but it isn't the best price for what this is.
Other than that I like the blush a lot... I might not purchase any more now that I realize the price... idk. Hope you guys found this review useful!
