Monday Musts
So... I'm not totally sure if I have many Monday Musts that I haven't already mentioned recently... but I'll think of something.
One thing I want to mention is an app. Its Tati aka GlamLifeGuru on youtube's Tati app. I started using it because she was doing a giveaway and you could just ask "should I buy" something with a hashtag and you could get feedback from others and give feedback yourself and I just thought that was pretty cool so I tried it and I've kind of been hooked since then. Its a fun app, people are nice on there. There are lots of youtubers and bloggers on there that are smaller that you can discover... its just a cool app for make up junkies. Lol.
I've also been loving pretty much everything I got from Colourpop. I haven't gotten to use the supershock shadow in Sequin yet... but I will it looks fantastic and sparkly. I love the KathleenLights collection. Her eyeshadows are so pretty, they're pigmented and easy to use and come up with looks and I just really enjoy it. Her Lippie Stick in Lumiere too is also amazing. I've been using it since I got it... which was only a few days ago... but still. Its really quite good.
Another favorite is Nars Turkish Delight Lip Gloss... idk what it is about this gloss but I love it. It may even beat my Buxum lipgloss in Shannon... except I love that Shannon is based off my name... so yeah. Lol this is a really light color that looks nice on top of other lipsticks like Lumiere... its really light but it looks good on my fair skin, it would also probably look great on darker skin tones. It is a nice milky pink and I love the formula of it. It isn't sticky but its longwearing and... idk I just really really like it. I'm happy I ended up getting that kit from Sephora cause I never would have tried it otherwise! If you see a Sephora inside JCpenny kit for like $39 and it has full sized items... just get it because there is probably a gem or two that you would never try on its own. Lol. Found some favorites in the other kit I got from them too and I just love their kits. They are the best!
Next up is another kind of hidden gem I never would have tried if it weren't in this kit. I mentioned last week that I really liked the Purity made simple face wash that I got for free because Sephora was giving out samples for VIB and VIB Rouge members and I liked it so much I got a larger size, the 8 ounce version when the VIB sale happened. That also came with a free 0.5 ounce version of the Miracle Worker moisturizer... and this stuff is really good. I used it last night and my skin looked really nice and my chin, which is my ultimate dry spot felt really good. I used it with the Tarte Maricuja Oil... which is also a favorite and idk if it was the combo of the two of them or if its just the anti-aging parts of the miracle worker moisturizer and if that firmed my skin or something... but whatever it did worked really well... just a first impression of this but that was awesome. I don't think I'll ever buy a full size because its $60 for a full size... but I would definitely recommend trying this out if you like the Purity Face wash, get the one that comes with this... and I think there is a smaller size that is $22...cause this is good!
