Weekly Favorites May 1st: Frugal, Fancy, Fragrance Fashion Favorites
Hey guys! Just switching the title of this blog a little bit... things might change a little bit for now... but anyway this is it for now!
Frugal
So my Frugal favorite this week is the Colourpop Super Shock Blush in the shade Birthday Suit. Mine is almost done and I'm trying to finish it up soon. I would definitely buy another one of these because the color is really nice and it's so pretty and matte so it kind of covers pores pretty well. I didn't used to like this product because mine didn't close all the way and it kind of dried out... its still a little bit dry but it's useable and I've been liking it!
Sometimes I include Juvia's Place as drugstore, sometimes I include it as high end... for the foundation that's $20 and I consider that more high end, but the palettes are always on sale... you can probably get this for less than $10- so I'm considering it drugstore... it's The Warrior Palette! This is just a really nice neutral palette. It's got everything you'd need for a neutral look and it's pigmented and lasts a long time. I only have 2 Juvia's Place Palettes- but this one is my favorite!
Fancy
My fancy favorite for the week is probably the Nars Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation. I didn't end up taking any pictures so I don't have a look with this yet- but I was going to post a look with my Sephora VIB Sale Recommendations and this was on the list for that... so I might still do that look sometime soon or maybe I'll do a few looks towards the time of the new sale... but I do really like this foundation! It's great for dry skin and it lasts a long time.
Fragrance
I didn't really have a favorite fragrance this week... but there was one I used a few weeks ago that is still kind of a spring favorite in general: The Victoria Secret Dream Angels Heavenly fragrance mist. I love this scent! It's just a really nice, light scent for spring and summer. It smells so clean and nice... I always have a soft spot for this fragrance for some reason.
Fashion
I don't think I really had a fashion favorite- but I did realize I have a favorite pair of sunglasses and I ordered 2 more pairs that I think are similar. These I just randomly found at an American Eagle Outlet one day when it was sunny out and I didn't have any sunglasses... these just worked and they're my favorite pair! Very random find but very great pair of sunglasses.
Favorite
I have been watching some older tv shows from the 90s lately. Of corse I pretty much ALWAYS watch Friends when it's on... but I decided to watch HBO On Demand's episodes of Sex and The City. They don't have every episode but they did have the first 2 seasons and E! had part of the third season... I'm going to find out how to watch it now... but that's all I could watch now.
