How To-sday: Going Out Look Feat. chocolate Bar Palette

I went out on Sunday, and I don't have a great pic of my Make up, but Here is a pic I did take (I'm on the right) and I used my chocolate bar palette for the eyes, which was the first time I used it for going out!

Usually I do my eye makeup first because this palette has some fallout, but I did my face first this night and it worked out nicely. I dampened a blender-sponge. Not a beauty blender, but I don't know the brand. And I dotted on some of my Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous foundation and blended it with the sponge. I then used my Physicians Formula Nude Wear Concealer under my eyes and I blended that out with the sponge also. The sponge was a little less wet thought. I contoured my cheeks and bronzed my face with my Too Faced Chocolate Solei Bronzer and I used my $1.99 Icing blush and then highlighted with my Physicans Formula Shimmer Bricks in Malibu Strip. Then I set it all with the Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Powder and set it with my Nyx Dewey finish Setting Spray.

Actually I think I put foundation on first then eyes and then I did everything else. This doesn't really matter, but it sort of does... One part makes more sense after I explain. Anyway so I primed my eyes with Maybeline's Color Tattoo in Barely Branded. Then I put Marzipan all over my lid. I then put Hazelnut in my crease as a transition type of color... This actually had some shimmer in it, which doesn't really show up in the pan... But I swear I saw a glitter in my eye. It's probably not the greatest for straight up contouring the eye, but it worked nicely for the look I was going for here, so it made sense. Then I used Cherry Cordial over that to darken it up and give a nice gradient looking smokey eye. I then lined my lower lashline with Rimmel's Scandal Eyes Kohl Kajal eyeliner in Nude and then I applied a coat of Maybeline's Butterfly Mascara. I did my face after that to let that sort of set and then I added my Miss Manga Mascara because that's how I like to layer lashes. It makes more sense that way.

Anyway after all of that I used my Buxum lipgloss in Shannon and I was good to go!

I really liked this look overall. I may have gone with a different lip, but I love this palette and I love all of those shades. I think I also highlighted my inner corners with champagne truffle, but I'm not sure.
