Make Up I Wish I Had in High School

I know it sucks... But it's almost back to school. Not really, I mean August just started, a lot of people probably don't start until September. Enjoy the rest of your month, don't stress! This is the bottom-milkshake part of summer as Leslie Knope would say and you need to just enjoy it.

I didn't wear a ton of make-up in high school. I did for like my first semester as a freshman, but I had gym first period... So it didn't make sense. I always wore Sheseido stuff, which is not cheap and my sister bought it for me. I don't think I did any eyeshadow, but I did face make up and lipgloss and it was nice. All the other girls in my school wore cheaper make up and it didn't match their skin so they looked orange... But now I think there are a lot of better things at the drugstore so that girls will never have to go around looking orange or spending too much money on make up again. There are also things that exist now at would make your make up actually last through gym period... And that is what I will mostly be talking about.

First off, I really wish we had Maybeline Color Tattoos when I was in high school because these are affordable, easy to put on and they make your shadows stay all day. There aren't many shades I typically wear alone, but in high school before I knew that people layered eyeshadows,I would probably have worn them alone and it would have looked fine. And If I did layer anything on top, it would last past gym.

Another eyeshadow I wish existed is the Loreal Infallible eyeshadows. These are so amazing! Again these last a really long time on the lids so it wouldn't have to worry about reapplying after gym. Plus these are great for a one-shadow look. They are quite shimmery... But they aren't too bad.

I don't know if the Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl eyeliners were a thing when I was in school or not... They probably were, but I wish that nude eyeliner was more popular back then because I would have liked to look a little more awake. Especially since I wore glasses most days in high school, it could have helped.

I also wish there were more drugstore and affordable palettes when I was in school. That could give you a lot of looks that you could do easily before class probably. I don't know if the Wet N Wild or Nyx palettes existed back then, but I wish I had them lol. Even the Maybeline Nudes looks like it will be amazing for Back To School. Or my Coastal Scents revealed palette... It seems like a good back to school eyeshadow palette and at $20 for 20 shadows it's not bad for beginners.

I'm not sure about foundation. I really liked the Sheseido foundation I used, but when I got to College freshman year, my roommate said that was a bad brand... Which it isn't. I would definitely try their stuff again I think it would work well still. And I think my sister still uses them and her make up always looks really natural and pretty.

I do wish there was a better fool proof blush. I think the Maybeline Master Glaze blush sticks would be an easy to use blush. Along with the Elf Small Stipple brush to smooth it out more, I think that's high school friendly.

Another random high school experience thing is that I didn't know how to use eyeliner or mascara in high school and I wish I knew how to do that. I liked emo music and I wanted to do eyeliner like Pete Wentz lol.

That is it I think. Let me know your back to school picks or things you wish you had in high school.

Byeeeee!
