Thrifty Thursday: TOTAL WIN Essence Spice Up Your Life Palette Look and buy this! Lol

Okay- last week I felt a little bit bad about giving an Essence Palette such a bad review because 1) It's not really widely Available 2) Essence Has some great palettes and this just happens to be an older one that just doesn't work. So I wanted to showcase my favorite one right now and tell you if you're looking for a new palette on the cheap- this is one to definitely check out!

Spice Up Your Life Palette

So this is a beautiful palette- It has warmer spicer shades so I typically think of this as a fall palette- but you can totally get some gorgeous everyday looks with this too. Plus I love wearing orangey shades when it's sunny outside... it's just nice.

So this is also only 9.99 which is really great for the amount of shades you get in this palette too... there are 16 shades! There are some drugstore palettes that are similar in quality and shade selection but with a higher price tag... so I feel like this is a pretty good deal for what you're getting.

The shimmers are all very pigmented- there is some fallout- but not nearly as bad as the shimmer fallout that I complained about last week. The mattes in this palette are also really nice and blend out super nicely.

So for my makeup look today I used Mulled Wine in the crease, Habanero Honey all over the lid, I think I took Wild Pepper in the outer corner and Caramelts in the inner corner. I think I used Vanilla Bean as a browbone highlight as well... this just turned out really nice and it reminds me of better high end palettes. It's awesome!

So one big drawback to this is the packaging... I don't really like having the shades on top of each other... I haven't had much issue with this palette yet because of that... but it isn't something I totally love. I feel like that maybe causes the price to be so low.

Here's a quick list of the other makeup I used too because DID YOU SEE MY HIGHLIGHT?????!!!!!! Seriously this is a rediscovered product I might never stop using. It's so good.
