Haul: new stuffs and stuffs I haven't tried yet!
So I've been buying stuff lately so I'll haul it! Ummm yeah pretty self explanatory.
I wanted to post about some stuff I got at Cotton on... But my computer isn't working and I have no pics. I got a cute kimono for $10 a $5 gizmo t shirt and then they had 2 for $25 tops so I got a white shirt with hearts on it and a shirt with kitties on it. They have a nice cut to them too, I kind of think of it as a southern belle short sleeve cut. Idk why, it's short and ruffled and it seems like a cute girl would wear it on a picnic at a farm... Might just be me being crazy lol. I love cotton on and they have good sales so check them out!
Then I went to target and I've talked about some of the stuff already, but I'll do reviews on it and everything too. I got the new Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous foundation and powder. My target didn't have many and they had all been tested already... But I got the lightest shade and it matched nicely so that was good. I also got the powder in the lightest shade. I don't usually wear powder, but I've been hearing good things about it so I gave it a try. I do get slightly oily in the sun so it's helpful.
I also got the L'oreal Miss Manga Mascara... I already have a few mascaras open and do not really need this... But it's so cute I had to try it! It's got Pandas on it and everything. I loved the Butterfly Mascara and I've heard this is even better. I will say I probably like this the same as the butterfly but there are some pros and cons... I'll do a review tomorrow on this. I do like this on my lower lashes kind of, which is rare.
I also found a Sally Hansen Nail Art kit for $5. I got the one with 2 different stripers/ brushes and a dotting tool. It also came with a few stencils. This is a really nice kit for the price. It's easy to use the brushes are easy to control and I think these are great for nail art beginners like myself. I did Fourth of July nail art with it and I loved the way it turned out. It's a good value and I kind of want to try more of these nail art things. They have gems and stuff too it just looks cool!
I also got some velour puffs from up and up. These are good for powder, I actually took the sponge out of the Covergirl powder and put this instead. I like it. It's good.
I also went to a favorite store that became even more of a favorite: Beauty Plus Salon. They have a lot of nail polishes and make up brands and hair products that are usually more affordable than they are at Sally's or even some Ulta and target. They have Nyx there and Hempz and It's a ten and Not Your Mother's... It's just really good. I just got a few nail polishes. I got a Seche Vite top coat and an Essie Nail Polish in the color chills and thrills. This store is even more of a favorite because they have a pretty awesome rewards program that's free to sign up for and you get coupons and a discount with every purchase and you get rewards for every $2 spent... Idk it sounded good. Right now they have a 20 percent coupon on their Facebook page and they also give a 10 percent discount for mall employees! Which is awesome for me because I work at a mall with a beauty plus salon. So that's nice.
And I went to Ulta! They had buy one get one half off of Maybeline and Nyx... So I did that. I got Maybeline's new matte color tattoo in Creamy Beige... This is amazing guys pick it up! This is a permanent collection too which is awesome. I also got a Crystal Babylips in Mirrored Mauve. Also awesome and I love it. I really want to try more of the crystal Babylips because I liked this one so much!
Then I tried two of the Nyx Butter lipsticks. I got sweet tart which is a really pretty pink color and Licorice which is a dark vampy color. It kind of sucks because Licorice came broken, I may exchange it...I have the receipt and they have a good return policy... But it also wasn't much money and I don't live near an Ulta. If I'm there in 60 days I'll return it if not no big deal. Just check the butter glosses because someone else probably wrecked them. Lol. I really loved these though and definitely want to try more. Possibly at beauty plus salon lol. We shall see!
And that's about it. Let me know what you think and if you've tried any of this stuff and I'll do some reviews soon!
Byeeeee!
