So, I've been doing a bit more shopping and I have a longer haul coming up... sometime in the near future, but I thought I would let you guys know about this because It's 1.99 make up, that is fairly awesome. Idk how long this sale is going on, I know a lot of the products seem to be disappearing, but this is a fun thing to check out.
So I got two little eyeshadow sets. One had 4 colors, it was mostly grey colors with a beautiful teal pop of color in the quad also. I swatched these when I got home, and they weren't all that pigmented. They didn't feel as chalky as the shadows in the Nyx Wicked Dreams palette, but for 1.99 it isn't the worst. You could probably do a few things with these shadows, and its a useful thing to have.
I got another eyeshadow trio with some brown colors. These also didn't swatch amazingly, but I think they would work well. They aren't pigmented like the Wet N Wild Trio's, but I think this is a nice basic little shadow set. Quite cute. And for 1.99 I'm not complaining!
And the last thing I got was a matte blush. It's like a mosiac type of blush and there are all different colors. I haven't tried this yet, but this is what I was most impressed with. It swatched really nicely, which isn't always the case for blushes. I almost didn't get it but I was like "meh why not" and so I picked it up. I'm excited to try this out. It's a really nice pink color that looked pretty bright when I swatched it.
I also have to say I really love the packaging of these products. I think it looks sleek and modern looking. It's really cute. A lot of times in these types of stores people test these things out and things fall and break and shatter. I was looking at the Victoria Secret Semi Annual Sale beauty products and a lot of their eyeshadows had been shattered. This is something you could easily throw in a pouch and keep in your purse or something. I thought that was nice.
Yeah thats probably it. I don't think I would pay full price for these eyeshadows, but I've heard their beauty products aren't that bad. They're probably more affordable than the Forever 21 beauty line, so I would give it a go! They also have a nice little rewards program called pretty perks that gives you some type of discount for every purchase you make there. It's a free perks program with a purchase, so that is something to check out too. I don't love all of their stuff because a lot of their jewelry and other accessories breaks easily and its more expensive than Forever 21 so I feel like its a bit mehhh but still. They have room decor and phone cases and all sorts of neat things. And they do have Bogo 50 percent off. There is always some sort of discount there. And its just a fun store to browse in.
So yeah that is it for this little Icing Haul. I just thought I would let you guys know what is out there and what's worth testing out.
Also I think I want to post a blog on here every day in July, Idk why I just feel a little more inspired now and it seems like a good time to blog every day.
