Frugal, Fancy, Fragrance, Fashion, Favorites Friday 1.31.20
Frugal
I don't really think I used anything particularly Frugal or Fancy that was too different this week... but I did use the Covergirl Clean Fresh Skin Milk Nourishing Foundation. This is just a really nice foundation with a light natural coverage- but I like how it makes my skin look. It's really nice and pretty! I really like it!
Fancy
I have 2 favorites this week! I'm not going to do the honorable mentions like I did last week because... I feel like I'll just be talking about a bunch of foundations or something... but I do have another foundation here! The Pretty Vulgar Volcanic Water Cool AF Foundation or whatever it's called... I just heard the Volcanic water part and that kinda made me laugh. Tati actually just mentioned this in her yearly favorites and I didn't know she liked it when I picked it up... so I was super impressed. It wears really well and applies very nicely. It feels sort of like a liquid to powder formula... I really liked it so far. I'm going to do a Throwback Thursday on this in a few weeks once I've tried it a bit more.
Fragrance
The Comfort scent from Bath and Body Works. This is a Vanilla and Patchouli scent that is very comforting. I've been using the lotion a lot this week and I just really like it!
Fashion
These headbands! I just mentioned it in my haul on Wednesday but I really like how these look- I think they kind of add something to an outfit and... they're just fun!
Favorites
John Wick! I just watched the first one and I saw some of the second one... but my boyfriend and I missed one little moment that was like a major plot point apparently so we didn't really get what was going on... I think I saw it more than he did and I kind of liked it. The first John Wick is better so far... but this wasn't an unnecessary sequel at all.
Other Beauty Things
Congrats to the youtuber Andrea Matilliano on her collaboration with Colourpop. She doesn't have her own palette coming out or anything- but she has a bundle available now with 2 palettes, a lipstick and an eyeliner. This is her video announcing it. I don't think I'm going to buy it because... I had some colourpop stuff in my cart earlier but I decided not to buy the palette I was going to get right now... and these 2 palettes aren't something I want right now... and if I wait- I think they'll sell out so I think I'm just going to pass on it... but it does look like a really great bundle and she has a good coupon code to get 15% off also. She's a youtuber I've been watching a lot lately and I find her videos very helpful and entertaining.
I've also re-subscribed to Tati... I unsubscribed from her channel because... idk. She's made some decisions and I love her palette... but I wasn't sure if I trusted her videos 100% or anything... but I kind of love that her channel is very review heavy and I missed watching some of her reviews.
I also started watching Kathleen Lights again... I like her videos and I've always been subscribed to her channel... and now I'm trying to watch her videos more often. I don't think I'll watch the subscription box videos- cause I had a Boxycharm video in my watch later from her and then I was like "UHhh I don't like subscriptions boxes..." so... that's someone I thought I'd mention too. Don't know why I don't watch her as much as I do. Anyway
