Beauty Stash #2: Basket of Eyeshadows and Blushes
So I recently started doing a "beauty collection" type of post... I forget what I called it, I'm just going to refer to this one as my "beauty Stash" so... yeah.
This one I just sort of re-arranged, its this little basket that I believe is from Ulta, probably around Easter. My sister got me Easter gifts and put them in here and all the goodies were from Ulta so this probably was too! I just keep some smaller eyeshadow palettes and blushes in this... I have a lot of places for those types of things, but I just re-did this one... so lets start with this!
I have a couple of Beauty Blenders in here. One is the real Beauty Blender that I got in a Sephora Inside JcPenny kit and the other is some knockoff that I got at Harmon. Its actually pretty similar.
And I have a pencil sharpener for eyeliners and lipliners in here cause I always lose this and its easy to see in here.
I have an NYC Individual Eyes palette in Midtown Mauve. This is pretty good, they recently reformulated it... I hardly reach for this... but maybe I'll make a point to some more!
I have a Maybeline quad in Sandstone Shimmer... I think this was in their fall collection last year... not sure. I wasn't thrilled with this... but you can get similar looks with this that you can get in the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette... but... its not even that pigmented... so I wasn't a huge fan. Maybe I'll give it another try, cause I do like Maybeline Shadows and this is really pretty.
Next I have a blush from Icing... Idk if they make this anymore but this is fantastic. It was like $1 or $2 tops and it is the most pigmented blush that I own. It is seriously too pigmented sometimes! Its really really good. Its a pink color and its matte and its in like a mosaic... I should definitely use this more its amazing.
Next is also from Icing. Its an Eyeshadow Quad. Again this was on sale, they probably don't make it... I actually bought these last year and did a whole swatch post on these and I was impressed. This I find harder to work with because it is a smokier type of thing with like a bright blue in there... and idk how to use that. Lol. But its pretty and I should give this a try!
Next is another favorite that... Surprise Surprise I need to use more often! It is the Rimmel HD cinco quad? Lol idk there are 5 colors but its more like a quad. This is in the shade Brick Lane and its amazing. You can do similar looks to the Naked Palettes (I don't have the original naked palette or the naked 2... but I've seen the looks and you can do them with this.) One of my favorite posts ever on this blog was a drugstore Christmas look using all of these shades and I absolutely love it. Its sooo pretty and pigmented and needs a lot of love. I got this for free too in an influenster brand badge, so that is cool.
Next I have a nyx Pigment... I think the color is just called pink, I don't have the package cause the package was messy and I put it in a contact lens container... but this is really pretty. Would make a good highlight or eyeshadow color. Love it!
Last eyeshadow thing I have in here are my Make Up Forever Artist Shadows. I have an orange color and a color called Fig I believe... I really like these. Great formula... I think I'm gonna get one of the bigger palettes of these... not sure... but the formula is good, these are more fall colors... so I'll use these more around fall. But I don't have a ton of either of these colors and the formula is amazing... so I like it!
I actually think I only have 1 blush and the rest are highlights... so thats cool. I have the Sephora Microsmooth baked blush duo in Guava Glow... this is amazing. I got this last year and it is getting some hype from some youtubers now. I've posted about this a lot because its just sooo pretty! You can get 3 different colors from this cause there are 2 sides and you can wear one, the other or mix them... Its pretty fantastic. The packaging isn't great, but its fantastic.
Next I have all 3 of the Elf Baked Highlighters. These are awesome. I heard KathleenLights talk about these, and they didn't used to sell them in stores, but I've been seeing more of the Elf online only stuff popping up here and there... so that is a good thing. The Colors are Moonlight Pearl, which is like a shimmery white color. Pink Diamonds, which is a really pretty pink color. And Blushed Gems which is more champagne and looks exactly like Mac's Soft and Gentle. These are awesome.
And I have the Maybeline Master Hi-light bronzer in the shade light bronze... I love these. I used to think "well I have better blushes than this... I'm not gonna use these a ton" and then I picked them up again and I was reunited. Lol. These were the first thing that came out that made me excited for blushes. I never used to be much of a blush person... but I liked these... so yeah.
And other random things I have in here, a powder puff that I use with face powder and magnetic book mark with an adorable maltese on it. Yeah! That is it!
Hope this was useful! Byeee!
