Monthly Favorites: June 2015!
So... idk what my favorites from this month are even... lol is that sad? I've tried so many things and I've been using so much different stuff that I don't even know what I've been using and loving... regardless... here are some notable items.
I've pretty much been using the Maybeline Master Highlight Blush in Pink Rose all month. Its such a pretty color, its one of those things that I just sort of overlooked because I have better high end blushes, and even better things from the drugstore. As far as the formula for this goes, it wasn't my favorite to be honest... but when i used it again, I fell in love with the color and the formula and I'd say this is definitely a must have. Its from the drugstore and its maybeline so its easy to find and easy to get a deal on... and it isn't a bad formula. Its all in one it gives a pretty glow... this pink can kind of work for anyone... and I just really enjoy it. Its definitely a must have.
Favorite Palette of the month is definitely the Tarte Showstopper. This is such a unique selection of neutral colors and a great all in one palette. You can use this for your eyes and face and come up with a bunch of different looks. Tarte shadows are kind of my favorite... this blush is also kind of my favorite and I love the highlight and bronzer in this also. Its just pretty awesome and I'm really loving using it.
One palette I didn't actually use much this month at all, but the time I did use it impressed me so much I felt like it needs to be included here. The Elf Prism Palette in Sunset. Its pigmented, longwearing and there are a lot of nice, summery looks you can do with this palette, so that is a good one.
Also the Elf Contouring Cream Blush and Bronzer. This stuff gives a nice glow to the face and it lasts pretty long as well. I haven't used it a ton... but when I did it just impressed me enough to be a favorite... so I will use this more throughout the summer cause this is very summerproof and yeah. Its good.
Sneaking into my favorites during the last few days of the month are the Moisturizing lipsticks from Elf. These are awesome. The formula reminds me of the Bite Beauty Luminous Cream lipsticks... but these are sooo much cheaper. I have 4 shades already somehow... so thats pretty cool. I love these.
Also all the other drugstore lipsticks I've been trying lately, that I've mentioned in a recent post are great. The Maybeline Color Blurs, L'oreal Le Laque in Laquey charm, Maybeline Color Sensational and Rebel Bloom and Color Elixer. The Color Elixer in Captivating Carnation is such an easy everyday on the go lipcolor that I love it. Its one of those that can live in your purse and just... live there. Lol.
Along with the lipstick we're now getting into the high end gloss favorite of the moment... Nars Christopher Kane Collection's Mezmer. Ohhh my gosh. This is so pretty. It leaves the prettiest stain on the lips and its just sooo soo good. I'm a big fan. I kind of want to buy everything left in the collection... but I'm not made of money... butttttt this is the best. I lovesss it!
And the Tree Hut Honey Almond Scrub. This is surprisingly fantastic. Well not really surprisingly, I've heard a lot of good things about it and I love the smell of almond so I thought it would smell fantastic... so yeah. No surprise there really... but still completely awesome! I'm obsessed! I should have picked up more of this at Harmon today... darn. Lol.
Ohhh and one more make up item I can't believe I almost forgot! Covergirl's Super Sizer Mascara!!! This stuff is awesome! It has such a weird brush but works sooooo well! Its probably my new favorite mascara! I'm sooo in love with it! I did a first impression on it already and it was obviously good! We've become friends, this mascara and I and now I'm layering it with other things... which I will probably talk about if I like it... we shall see lol.
And that is pretty much it! Hope you guys are having a good day! The month of June was pretty cool for me was it cool for you? Not "cool" cool but it was a good month. I'm havin a good time. Lol.
