First Impression Friday : It Cosmetics CC+ Illumination cream

This is going to be a little bit of a different True Test Thursday cause I'm going to try it for the first time today... but today isn't Thursday June 25th... Even though it is when you're reading it. It is actually June 17th right now. Its not even a Thursday... but I still wanted to give this a go today. Idk what I will be doing today... might be something big... might not be. So I will wear this some more throughout the week and I'll post my updated thoughts at the end.

Application...

I was surprised! I heard it was full coverage but its actually pretty buildable. I just put a little on the first layer and spread it out with my hands... very natural coverage but I liked it. I did a second layer a little more coverage, I used a brush this time and it was good. Then I used another layer and just swirled the brush around to give it a more natural look. Then I sprayed a beauty blender with a setting spray to even it out.

I did notice it sort of exaggerates some of my pores by my nose and it is like a sparkly glow to it... so thats a little weird. And it looks kind of cakey in some areas... might be because I did 3 layers... Idk. I'll probably spray the beauty blender and go over it.

So so far I like it but its also kind of meh. Idk I feel like my skin looks dry still but also sparkly. Idk. Its a little weird.

Its been a while...-
You have to sing that part like the song lol. So its like 3:02 now. I put this on around 11:30-12ish. It still looks good. I feel like it wears better on the skin than it applies initially... which is a little weird, but it works.

It also doesn't look like there's glitter on your face in pictures, it just looks very very dewy though. If you have oily skin, I think this is something that would be better mixed with other foundation. I'll update you on how this looks mixed with other foundations. After putting some powder on it, it looked a little better and wore a little bit better, especially on my pores. Its still quite luminous looking.

After Napping

I took a nap and it did still hold up really well! It feels really natural on the skin and... I just really really like it! I'd say right now its definitely worth $38 if you have dry skin and want an all day luminous look!

More Thoughts:
I like and dislike the way it looked mixed with the L'oreal Infallible foundation. I didn't love the way it felt all that much... but its hot, so I think most foundations will feel kinda weird on. It was also maybe too full coverage... idk. But overall... yeah it was good. Think I'm keepin it in my weekly make up bag... which I think will be tomorrows post... I give it a thumbs up!

Idk If I would necessarily repurchase this just yet... but I'd try the regular cc cream... and I still need to use it a little more.

Byeee!

P.S I think I may refer to this as a True Test Thursday... but I'm now changing that to First Impression Friday... so there's that!
