True Test Thursday: Covergirl The Super Sizer Mascara

So I've already tried this mascara, and I love the way it looks and the way it volumizes my lashes... but I haven't worn it for an extended period of time doing a ton of things yet... so I'm going to try that today! I'm also going to not use my Ulta Rain Coat Topcoat Mascara and I'm going to update when I remove it, because when I applied it yesterday it was a little crunchy and I feel like I didn't remove the last bit of it quite as much.

Today is kind of a busy day, so this mascara is getting a fair chance. I'm getting a mani/pedi with my cousins. I kind of hate the word mani pedi... but its easier to say than we're getting manicures and pedicures and its cuter to say than "we're getting our nails and toenails done" I think... I just don't want people picturing my toenails... yuck lol.

The Wand

This wand really looks like nothing... but its kind of magical lol. Its a magic wand! Its really weird because it has small bristles on the bottom of the wand and then towards the top it fans out a bit, the bristles are bigger and it kind of gives it a curved wand feel without it actually being a curved wand. Because it isn't really curved, but because it fans out a little bit and gets bigger towards the end. It looks like nothing, but it actually works really well. I have long lashes, which aren't always great because they aren't really curly... but the shape of this kind of helps hold the curl.

Application
Its pretty easy and you don't really need to build it a ton. One layer already has the volume and length that most mascaras have in a few layers... so thats pretty awesome already. I must have like a wonky lash or something because there is like a group that clumps up! And I don't think its necessarily the Mascaras fault, I think it happens with a lot of different mascaras and I feel like its a lash problem. That being said, its really dark, so I think it makes it a little more noticeable and that might be why I've noticed it... lol. But it is slightly a problem.

I feel like my lashes are a little crunchy... but like still soft. Like soft and crunchy? Idk that might just be mascara buildup or something... but i'm pretty good with taking off mascaras... but I haven't been the best recently... so that kind of makes sense to me.

Wearing it...
So today was even a bigger True Test than I realized. I was getting my nails done and I had like a frog in my throat and there was nothing that I could really do about it, so my eyes were watering... didn't budge. I went outside in 90+ degree heat... HOTTEST DAY OF THE YEAR! It didn't budge! I took a nap cause I was tired... my eyeshadow rubbed off... mascara didn't budge. I put some on the bottom lashes after I got home cause I kind of realized "ohhh I should have put some on my bottom lashes... this wand looks like a bottom lash mascara" That part stayed on for a bit I think. Its pretty much all wiped off right now, but I wiped my eyes off... not with a make up remover... but still.

It didn't look spidery on the top or bottom lashes. I'm not a big fan of bottom lash mascara anyway... but this works well for that, it would probably be better in waterproof... but the non-waterproof didn't flake or give me panda eyes anywhere or anything... so yeah! This was pretty awesome!

Final Verdict...
So I'd definitely say pick it up! It was on sale for 5.99 at Target... which is awesome for mascara! The other ones I like are all 7.99-8.99 ish and then my Ulta Amped lashes is like $10... but it goes on sale all the time.

Byeee!
