Weight Loss Wednesday: Getting Into a Routine

One thing I actually think is kind of fun, and this goes along with the organization that I was talking about last week, is getting into a morning routine. Any sort of routine, I get kind of happy with. And if I'm bored by it, I'll break the routine and do something else. Its just kind of fun for me I guess? Idk. I get excited when I have a new routine and when I add something to it, I feel more organized and complete somehow...

So getting in a routine is really important for losing weight because it will help you keep track of things wayyy better in a way thats good for you.

Every day I wake up at around 7-7:30. My mom leaves for a little bit, my dog scratches on my door, and I sleep out on the couch in the living room with him until my mom gets home. If I'm really good, I'll stay awake and go right to my sisters room to work out. My sisters room is just sort of the biggest place where I can work out privately... she doesn't live here anymore, but she did leave some weights and things in there... so I can use them. Plus she has mirrors, I can see if I'm doing things right... its very easy.

I'll even put things in there so that I can get ready with in my sisters room. Like I have some work out clothes in her room, and I'll put my real clothes for the day and a make up bag with make up I want to maybe use that day in there. I think I might put a deodorant in there also... hmm...

I also listen to podcasts while doing this! I love podcasts and they're always fun to listen to while working out! I've been listening to Comedy Bang Bang and Blacklist Table Reads. Pretty much anything on Earwolf or Wolfpop. Those are sister podcast stations with a lot of people I like and they're really funny and interesting. Earwolf is more comedy focused and has more talk shows, Wolfpop is all based in Pop Culture. There's an app called Howl that has all episodes of both podcast networks and its cool, if you wanted to catch up and listen there. This is just what I like and if you're into comedy and pop culture and movies... this is something you'll probably really like too! Not sponsored or promoting anything of my own... but still.

Now right now... this is kind of embarrassing, but I haven't been working out for all that long. I do 30mins -ish and then kind of call it a day and take a shower...I don't know all that many small space workout routine things and I feel like I do everything I know pretty much in 30 minutes... maybe I should just do more of these and do it better cause I don't really feel like I'm doing all that well doing this just this way to be honest... but its a start. And as I said, this is baby steps towards a bigger thing.

Hope this was helpful!

See You Later with another scribble!

Side Note: Right after writing this, I woke up early with intentions to work out... but I was damn tired... so I didn't work out in the morning... but later that night I was like "you know what, I'm not giving up. I'm not going anywhere, I can work out now." So I did just that. And it was my best work out ever. I did a full hour and... I sweat a lot and it stunk! But in a good way! So I'm happy the way that worked out!
