Easy Summer Make Up Look with Mostly Drugstore Products

So I did just did this look today... but it will have been a while ago by the time I'm posting this and I liked it a lot... so here it is! Its mostly drugstore, some high end things are in here but... you know.

Face

So I started out with the Too Faced Hangover RX Primer and then I went in with my Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation. This made my pores look kinda big at first... but nothin too bad. after all the rest of my face was done, it looked okay. I'm just testing out the Hangover RX and its kind of like a moisturizer for my skin too, so I like it.

Next I actually wanted to try a cream contour, so I used the Elf Blush and Bronzer Cream And I started out just with the bronzer on a Real Techniques Contour Brush and then I used the blush, which I just put on with my hands and blended out with the Elf Small Stipple Brush. It actually looked really nice and warmed up the face and I think I'll be using it a lot in the summer... so yeah. That was cool. I also highlighted with the Elf Baked Highlighter in Blushed Gems. I used a couple of setting sprays, my Pixi Glow Mist first a few times layered and the UD All Nighter Setting Spray.

Actually a step I forgot to mention after doing my foundation was that I took some of the Pixi Glow Mist on a Beauty Blender and squirted it just to blend it in a little bit. This works really well and is pretty quick. I also powdered with Covergirl's Ready Set Gorgeous Powder and sprayed again...

And before I put powder all over my face... another step I forgot about was concealer. I used Benefit's Erase Paste with the Elf Under Eye Setting Powder.

Eyes

I used my Lorac Behind The Scenes Primer and then went in to the Elf Prism Palette in Sunset, which again I hadn't used much since getting it. I went into the gold shade and put that all over my lid. Then I went in with that dark purple next to it and put that on my crease and outer edge... and then I thought why not and I added a little bit of the bright purple color at the end of the palette and put that on my outer edge too. Then I took the pink shade that is the second color in the palette and put that on my inner corner and then eventually to the inner third of my eyes, it gave a nice sunset-y look. At some point I realized the color was more intense if I wet it, so I wet my brush with the Pixi Glow mist and applied some of these colors wet too. Especially the gold which had been getting blended away a bit. And I highlighted my browbone and very inner corner with the white shade in this palette.

for Mascara... just use your favorite lol. I didn't like the Mascara I used for the original version of this look. I used the Kate Moss one and my lashes looked spidery so I took it off and then when in with the Ulta Amped lashes in Volumizing and then the Rain Coat waterproof top coat from Ulta. Whatever works.

Lips
I loved the lip combo for this! I used Essense Wish me a Rose or something like that-it has Rose in the name and its good- as a lip liner and topped it off with Bite Beauty's Fig.

Also, this wasn't like a first impression or anything, I've used all of these before... I actually did this look a month or so ago and didn't get a pic, so I re-created it today... it was surprisingly long-wearing. I was walking a lot the first day I did this look, and then today when I re-created it, I was working out and my eyeshadow was still on for a long time. I have trouble with so many drugstore eyeshadows lasting on my lids without using the Urban Decay Primer Potion... but I used the Lorac with these Elf Prism shadows and it worked really well. I was really impressed. I just ordered some more from Elf... so I'm glad this worked out well! It was also hot outside and I went outside, I took my dog for a walk, I was in a hot car... it was an eventful day and everything stayed on nicely. I powdered and re-misted my face with the UD All Nighter after taking my dog out, and I didn't think my face looked amazing post work-out... I wouldn't go out like that in public... but for normal summer heat, this held up so well!

And now here are pics of the finished product...

See the pops of purple? I love these combos! Such a nice palette.

And here's an unattractive close up... just in case! Lol.
Adios!
