Sampled Out: Le Couvent des Minimes Loving Care Body Balm
B-B-B-Bonus Post!!! (this is a bonus... but I'm posting it first... lol.)
So I heard Jen Luvs Reviews mention a "sampled out" challenge that she was doing with another youtuber I think... I guess it just means using up your samples... I don't really know. I thought that it would be a cool thing to try out though, I have a few samples that I wanted to try, and this was one of the cooler things I got... so I wanted to finish it up! I have an empties coming up... I figured I'd just include this here!
So I had never tried this brand before, I knew they were made in France and bunny Graveyardgirl liked their perfumes... which I don't think Ulta sells anymore... but yeah.
This sample had enough for my arms and legs and my hands a little bit. It feels a little sticky going on, but it feels pretty good. I especially liked it on my hands. It smells really pleasant. Kind of lemony and perfumey but like with a clean smell to it. It smells like a French type of thing. Lol.
So I feel a little sticky right now... I'm gonna go to bed and I'll let you know what this was like in the morning.
Alrighty so I felt a little while after putting this on that my arms and stuff... which are badly sunburnt right now, I thought there was a bit of a cooling effect... but I'm not totally sure it was that. My shoulders are mostly the burnt part, and I'm not sure I put this directly on my shoulders... I did notice a cooling fact right after putting this on though... so it could have been from this... idk. Lol. I also put it on my legs and I didn't shave that day... so I was kind of hairy and itchy to begin with... in the morning it didn't help any. I was still feeling a little itchy. So... not a huge difference. And my sunburnt went down a bit... I think it just started to go down naturally. It hurts still... but yeah. Its not as amazing as I thought!
So would I buy this... I was considering it because I did think it was helping my sunburn... but it probably wasn't. And its expensive. Its like $36... it smells nice and feels okay... but yeah. Not sure it $36 works. If it were on sale for like $10 or something maybe I would try it... but meh.
