Beauty Lusts?
In the summer time there are tons of new products and sometimes it might just be all the hype... But I end up wanting to buy them all. Unfortunately, my financial matters do not fit my shopping addictions... So instead I will blog about it. If anyone is reading this that's tried these products... Let me know if I really need them or if I can live without them. I mean I'm pretty sure I'll survive without any of them... But I feel the need to try all of them... Lol. Some of it's drugstore, some of it is more high end... I'll probably be more likely to buy the drugstore products than high ends.
So mostly I've been lusting after neutral palettes... Which is something I really didn't think I needed any more of. I have the Naked 3 palette and the Stila In The Light Palette... There is a certain point when this all becomes excessive lol.
Last week The Balm was on Hautelook and I almost ordered 2 palettes! I tried to put it off but they were still kind of in my head... And I just missed the sale for them lol. I thought it ended at 11:30 my time but it ended at 11... It was kind of a sad day... But I had spent some of my paycheck elsewhere and was like "meh... I don't really need it anyway." But I will probably keep an eye for it the next time Hautelook goes on sale. The palettes were the Nude Tude Palette and the Meet Matte Nude Palette. I've heard great things about both of them, they were both a justifiable price on Hautelook... So I may definitely look out for future balm sales for them.
Probably my number 1 lusted after thing right now is the too faced chocolate bar palette... I've been wanting this since it came out pretty much and a little birdy (noveau cheap) said that you can get it on HSN for $29 plus tax... That's pretty awesome. There's a coupon code out there somewhere that allows first time hsn customers to get 20$ off a 49 or more purchase which is pretty friggin sweet. I almost picked this up at sephora when I had a 20 percent off or 15 percent off or whatever, but I thought no... I don't need another palette I have my Urban Decay Naked Palette and my Stila palette. This can wait. Now I feel like it's different enough that both palettes will get love. I've probably neglected the Stila one for other palettes I have... So this may be hard to justify buying... But at the same time it is $29 which is a great discount... Idk. Maybe I'll wait a bit. This is not the first time HSN has had this coupon and it probably won't be the last.
The last palette ice been eyeing most recently is / are the coastal scents revealed palette(s?). I remember hearing about some online brand that was similar to the Urban Decay Naked 1&2 palettes and it was this one. I hear it isn't as great... But I've heard it is gosh darn close and for under $20 as opposed to over $50 that's not bad at all. There is a Revealed 2 palette that looks super pretty too, but thatone is similar to the Naked 3 palette and I already have that palette... So I'm not sure if I need that but it looks different enough to almost ALMOST justify it. I've been loving my Naked 3 so much I've almost wanted the other two, but I'm not about to spend my money on them... But $20 for a similar one isn't bad. I hear these go on sale a lot... I may wait till the holidays cause they'll definitely be on sale then... Plus I won't be in school so that's always nice right?
I should also mention I don't love shopping online because I like seeing palettes in person first and seeing if I need them in my life. I've seen the Chocolate bar in real life and sometime or other I do think I will get that. I think all of these palettes look completely different from what I have and different from each other. The revealed 2 isn't all that different. The nude tude palette looks somewhat similar to what I have already... But I still think it's probably good to have. I don't know anymore lol.
For non eyeshadow high end products I've been wanting at least one of the too faced melted lipsticks. I don't know what color, but these look really cool and I want to try them out. It might be something different, it seems like it would be good at graduation.... Idk. I may pick one of these up... But idk.
Also I've seen a lot of people using the Benefit They're real liner... Idk about this. I've heard mixed reviews but it looks so good on so many people! I'm probably going to skip this and wait for a drugstore dupe because I'm sure there will be.
Speaking of drugstore: Maybeline has a new line of color tattoos... They all look nice and wearable, they're all matte. Creamy Beige seems to be what I've been hearing is best. I may have to try that if I can get my hands on it. I'm sure I'll try more from the line also... But it's a permanent line,I'm not that worried about it selling out or anything.
Also I've been eyeing the covergirl ready set gorgeous foundation for this summer and the powder too. I have dry skin so I don't really need powder.. But in the summer I do get a little more oily, especially when I wear my Olay Fresh Effects Bb cream so I think that might be a good investment. Plus it is a powder foundation and I know that probably won't work for me... But I've always been curious about it, so that may be a thing I try. I have 3 foundations an a Bb cream right now and I kind of don't think that would be a foundation I would reach for that often... But I think it would work well in the summer and I've been curious about it since it's release... So we shall see.
And I've been eyeing a couple of mascaras too... The Loreal miss manga looks super exciting. I absolutely love the butterfly mascara, it's probably my favorite mascara I've ever tried and I've heard this one is even better, so it intrigues me. The Maybeline Pumped Up Collossal I've heard mixed reviews on..but I also think it looks nice too. I feel like it'd be good on my lashes, which are pretty full already but I always like a little something something more. Lol.
And the dream Lumi primer looks like it gives a wonderful glow. I have 4 primers right now... So I do think this is something I would need anytime soon... But it looks nice. Once I finish some of these primers maybe I'll try it. I'm also thinking of doing a primer face off when I test out different primers with different foundations. That may take a while because I really want to give everything a fair test. Lol.

The Maybeline Babylips Crystals: I will probably buy one of these cause they're so affordable but I'm not on the hunt for them yet. I think that's everything... Better stop before I find something else lol.
I also want to point out it's been over a month since I've bought any make up. I got sent a lot from Rimmel/ Influenster but it's been awhile since I was this excited about anything and since there were good deals on anything. Keep that in mind. I've been shopping my collection a bit though which is fun... But I feel like there's some room to grow... Especially with good deals when I know I'm probably not going to buy any of this stuff. Lol.
