Birthday Month Haulin'
So it is my bday month and that means its time to do a little bit of damage. Just a little... lol. I'm having fun, I'm gonna take advantage of my 5X Ulta Points at some time and all my free birthday goodies I've been waiting for... and just having some fun.
CVS
So I stopped into a CVS and I saw some palettes from Make Up Academy... and I've heard some good things about their palettes so I grabbed one. The Metallic Eyeshadow Palette. It looks really pretty and like the perfect fall palette. These are usually $15 but they were 25% off... which they tend to do a lot with Make Up Academy. Plus I had $1 extra buck... so it was like $10... which is not bad! So I'm excited for that!
Sephora
I'm starting with the small stuff I got as freebies before I get to the big stuff... and I'll explain why but yeah. Lol. I got a lot of free lipstick!
So first off I got the Sephora brand tinted lip balm in Melon Crush I think its called. They're repackaging these I think, so they're all on sale now. This smells amazing and just adds a nice tint to the lips. This was a random buy because I wanted a 250 point reward and I had 249 points... so this was $2 the girl just kind of grabbed me a random color and scent and I liked it! I know they have a holiday set of these... I may get that. These are cute and nice!
So the 250 point reward I wanted was the Bite Beauty lipstick of the month set thingy. Basically Bite releases a limited LIMITED amount of a new luminous cream lipstick every month and its up for a few hours usually... lately its been longer... and then its gone forever. But lately sephora has had small samples of the lipsticks along with a matching gloss as a 250 point perk... so I needed it! Lol I'm happy I got the one for October because its my birthday Month and I love the dark color. Its really nice and such a pretty berry color.
Speaking of Birthday Month... I got my birthday gift from Sephora of corse! This year is probably the best one ever in my opinion. Its 2 lip colors from Nars. One is a nice neutral pink, the other is the most flattering, best red color ever... I'm really happy with it. I've loved everything I've tried from Nars so far... this is definitely amazing and... yeah. I'm excited to use these! Especially that red with the holidays coming up... yes!!!
And last but not least I got the Bite Beauty Best of Bite Rewind Set. These are a great value, if you can get your hands on them they are awesome. I think I'm going to start kind of collecting these... lol. When I got mine I dropped it in line at Sephora and when I opened it The Mirror was shattered... I kind of think it was like that before I dropped it though because when I went back to return it, there were other ones in a different spot. So, someone probably dropped it, broke it and put it near the floor. Lol. I exchanged it for a new one though, so that is good. I was happy they still had some. Here are some swatches comparing it to last years...
as you can tell... on my hand they look Identical. Idk which side is which, I know its not all one side last years and this side this years. Last year was their High Pigment pencils and this year was the matte creme lipsticks, so they look very different and feel different on the lips. Both good formulas and if you have last years... you don't need this years... but I'm happy I have both. Lol.
Bath and Body Works
My mom actually got me some things and some things for the home at B&B works... so that was nice!
I got 3 wallflowers because I use the fall and winter wallflowers all year long. I prefer those scents to anything else, I love sweet, bakery types of scents and these are my favorites... so that is good. Plus these were on sale for $3. 50 when I went in... so that was good. I got a Pumpkin Cupcake, a Caramel Pumpkin Swirl... which is my favorite and a Pumpkin Pecan Waffles which I also love! These are just great and I'm just a big fan. I just use them in my room and I like the nice scent of them.
And we got some hand soaps for the house because we like them a lot. We got 2 of the Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte which we love the scent of... Not going to lie though, the Pumpkin Latte from last year smelled wayyy better. We also got a Pumpkin Cupcake and a Pumpkin Pecan Waffles. We really like Pumpkin. We got the foaming ones, my mom picked up one of the Anti Bacterial ones and I was like "but we like the foaming ones more" lol. I think she liked that one more too... they're a little softer on the hands than the anti bacterial ones... so I liked that!
I also got some things for my birthed. I got the Midnight Pomegranate Body Lotion because I love this scent and I actually kind of miss it. The Plum Cider body wash and the apple body wash just cause I really like these scents for fall and I wanted them.
I also got a triple moisture body cream in Midnight Pomegranate I think... might have been something else... or their Ultra Shea cream rather, not the body cream. I had a coupon for a $5 and those also work with the 20% off coupons so that made it good!
Wall Mart
First off I got a L'oreal Butterfly Intenza Mascara. I think my Ulta Amped Lashes is still good... but I'm afraid its going to dry out soon or something and I forgot how much I liked this one too... so I wanted to try it again.
I got the Rimmel Scandal Eyes Kohl Kajal eyeliner in Turquois. This is going to be used in an "On Wednesdays We Wear Pink" Post for Harley Quinn. I also thought this color looked super pretty and I just kind of wanted it... so I'm using it!
I got the Elf Daily Brush Cleaner, because I feel like sometimes my makeup can look a little muddy when I don't clean my brushes off right away... and I feel like this is a good thing to do in between deep cleansing with Baby Shampoo.
And I got a pair of Earmuffs for my Halloween costume. I'm going as Chanel #3 because I just think she's a really funny character that would make a good costume and I feel like she'll probably be dead by next season... so its better to be her now. I'm a little bit afraid she'll be dead by the time its halloween so maybe I'll add fake blood to the costume or something... idk. Lol but this just seems like too cute of a costume not to do and I like that she has them on because the actress that plays her is Carrie Fisher's daughter, so its an homage to Princess Leia. And its funny that she's Charles Manson's daughter on the show too.
New York and Company
When I worked there, I think the last thing I purchased was a black leather jacket because I had always wanted one and they have good sales on them around holidays, and they had them for $29 and free shipping for Columbus Day... and I thought that was pretty awesome, so I got a brown one. I really like the one I had, but I like brown leather jackets too, so I got that for my birthday also.

So this was the majority of my bday present so there is a lot...
I got a soft and Sexy baseball tee... I love these and I was looking at this one specifically for my Harley Quinn Makeup and outfit... but I also like it enough to wear other than just for that... so I was happy with that.
And I got a Soft and Sexy solid t shirt that was a dark green color because I like the way the Soft and Sexy things fit, they sort of cling to the right places and just look nice on. Plus I like the plain solid color ones to accessorize with and stuff like that... expect to see that in an upcoming OOTD or something!
I also ordered a white scarf because the girl waiting on me had a white scarf on and it looked really nice with it and I just liked it a lot. It kind of reminded me of Slytherin too, and I am a Slytherin, so gotta represent.
I also got another soft and sexy t shirt with a graphic constellation print on it. I just thought this was cool looking and like I said, the soft and sexy shirts are great.
I got a flannel looking shirt, I love flannels and I especially loved the colors of these, I just think they'll look good on anyone and this was really pretty.
And I ordered another sweater that was like a rusty orange color. It was really pretty and they had a medium I liked, but it was tight in the arms so I couldn't really wear that, so I ordered the large and hopefully that fits.
Ulta
I got a couple things in store at Ulta and a few things online... so there's quite a bit... but yeah.
First I got the Too Faced Melted Lipstick in Melted Fig. I've been wanting this shade for forever and I love it. I'm really excited to wear it. Its a really pretty plummy color thats still kind of light. I love it.
I also have the Ouidad Moisture Lock Leave In Conditioner. This is a backup, I'm almost out and I don't want to not have it for a while... so I got that.
Then online I ordered the Tarte Greatest Glitz set. I wasn't going to get a holiday palette. I was trying to talk myself out of anything, I saw it in store and swatched it but ultimately decided not to get it... then I saw EmilyNoel83's review and I got an email for 5 times the points on tarte, $10 off birthday coupon, double points for my birthday and 3 times the points for being platinum... so I was like "okay. This is a sign. I need this in my life." So I got that... lol.
Then I was $11 away from Free Shipping... so I looked at the Ulta brand stuff which was 3 for 9 for some stuff... so I got a Gel eyeliner... which I've never tried any gel liner before... so that should be fun. I got one of their cream liners in Rose Gold, which is a repurchase. Its such a pretty color but it does dry up fast... but I still wanted it again... so I got that. And I got one of their Brilliant Color Eyeshadows in Taupe. This color, I just swatched now and it is amazing. If you need a cruelty free alternative to the L'oreal Infallible shadows, I'd try this for sure!
And then I was a few dollars short for Free Shipping, so I went to the Essence Section. Essence is a great super affordable brand that is perfect to get if you need to get to free shipping. Lol. Its a brand good enough that you'll use so it isn't just like an impulse buy. I've tried their lip liners and really liked what I've tried, so I got one in Honey Berry which just looked like a nice berry color. Last time I got an essence lipliner I got Soft Berry and that wasn't quite as berry. That's a good color to go with Melted Fig, but it wasn't quite as berry as this... so I got that. And I've heard good things about their nail polish, so I got one in the color Let's Get Lost. Which is a nice Teal Blue.
Express
Again, I've mentioned before I don't shop here all that often... but I had a coupon and it was my birthday. I was just going to use the $15 off 30 coupon... but I ended up finding some things I liked that are kind of staples... and express is a good place to get them from and the girl working was so nice and she just dealt with an awful customer before me... so I had to! Lol.
I got one top that was just a plain white ribbed V Neck with long sleeves. Just a simple top that I thought would go with a lot of things and particularly something that I had gotten earlier that day at Boscovs... which I'll also show.
And then I got a striped one because really I wanted something Striped. Its the same design, same v neck just with stripes and I liked it.
Then I got a white v neck that had a rope design on it. I thought this was really cool, and this was expensive... but I thought YOLO. Tops from express will probably last my entire life... so that is probably good.
And I got 3 pairs of earrings, which I'm very excited about. I always loved those ear jacket earrings where the back has a pretty design on it... so I got one pair thats silver with a pearl as the stud part and then the bottom just has rhinestones, one with like a leaf look as the stud part and then rhinestones in a similar pattern at the bottom and one pair that was gold hearts with hearts on the bottom too. Love these! I love express earrings, somehow they are the most comfortable and they actually stay in my ears. Plus these are so trendy right now and I love them!

So my mom actually had a 25%off coupon that they do for something called "friends helping friends" I think churches sell them or something for $5 and her friends church had one... so I actually did really good there.
I got this rust colored cardigan that is just perfect for fall. It looks so nice and cozy, as many long cardigans as I own, I have nothing like this, so I was happy with that!
I also got a pair of boots from Rampage. I've been wanting a brown pair of boots for a long time and these are really nice and comfy. They fit well and weren't too over the top, but they were still really cute and I liked them a lot.
And I got a peacoat! This one kind of looks like one that Mindy Lahiri wore on The Mindy Project... that I've been lusting after but it was $400 and this was wayyy less than that. Plus it was on sale and with the coupon it was really good. So that I'm really happy with and excited about. It's so comfy and just really really nice. It looks good on too, I'm excited for it to get cold enough to use!

Just got a few things from Target. I'm trying out some Sonia Kashuk things for the first time from the Grand Bazaar collection. I got the Spice Market Eye and blush palette, which comes with 4 greatly pigmented eyeshadows and 2 blushes. I saw Tati do a first impression on this collection and I was like "Ohhh I need that in my life." So I got it. The packaging is adorable too! She also raved about the liquid lipsticks in that collection and they had one or 2 there... but they were in completely different packaging so I just grabbed the one I knew for sure was a liquid lipstick and not a gloss and that is Vintage Wine, which is sort of a plummy brown color... idk how its going to look on me... but I like it. And I love that the top of the tube says SK because those are my initials. Lol.
I also got a Sinful Colors Nail Polish from their halloween collection in a shade called Go Batty. First off its glow in the dark and has moons in it, so its super unique and pretty. 2nd Sinful colors has a good formula and 3rd I love the Gone Batty Minion... so I needed to try this.
Ulta Online... Again
So I got a 20% off coupon from Ulta... and I can never resist a 20% off coupon. I also decided I was going to use my points, because I accumulated quite a few points lately. I feel like it took me forever to get to $20 worth of points and now all of a sudden I had almost $70 worth of points... so there's that... lol.
There is also a new online only kit from Lorac with both Unzipped eye palettes, the unzipped blush palette and a lipstick. If you were to buy all of those items alone, it would be $125. The set online is $80 and with the 20% off coupon it was $64... and I used my points and got it for free!!!! Lol. So that was great. This is why I like Ulta more than Sephora. Sephora's Epic Rewards points were a whole ordeal that didn't really end up working... so I'm glad this one works better! I'll have reviews and looks on these soon as well. These are all permanent products... idk about the lipstick, but the blush palette is permanent and so are the Unzipped... so thats good.
Costco
I got another cute oversized cardigan in a red color. This was nice and warm and it looked cute... and I'm A SMALL! I've never been a small and the Medium was just really big on me. Lol. So these run quite big, but they're really good, so if you see them at your local costco get them.

You've probably already seen some... so there's that. And there will be reviews on everything makeup or beauty related coming soon! There is also a new online only kit from Lorac with both Unzipped eye palettes, the unzipped blush palette and a lipstick. If you were to buy all of those items alone, it would be $125. The set online is $80 and with the 20% off coupon it was $64... and I used my points and got it for free!!!! Lol. So that was great. This is why I like Ulta more than Sephora. Sephora's Epic Rewards points were a whole ordeal that didn't really end up working... so I'm glad this one works better! I'll have reviews and looks on these soon as well. These are all permanent products... idk about the lipstick, but the blush palette is permanent and so are the Unzipped... so thats good.

I got another cute oversized cardigan in a red color. This was nice and warm and it looked cute... and I'm A SMALL! I've never been a small and the Medium was just really big on me. Lol. So these run quite big, but they're really good, so if you see them at your local costco get them.

You've probably already seen some... so there's that. And there will be reviews on everything makeup or beauty related coming soon! And I want to say I'm on a No Buy till Black Friday... but thats not true. Lol. I know I'll get stuff during the VIB Sale. Maybe I won't go super crazy... but I'll probably get stuff... and I'll probably stop at Ulta in store for my bday gift as well... and I have a kohl's gift card and an Old Navy Coupon... so there is that too... Yeah. Lol.
