Monday Musts! 11/9/15
1) Benefit Watt's Up Highlighter- I feel like this is the week for face products. I just put this in my makeup bag because I used a makeup bag this week and just stuffed it with a bunch of things just cause its a sample size, it doesn't take up much space... I love this. Its really nice and build-able like you could make this really pop and glow, or you could just sheer it out a little bit. Its really easy to use and its great. If you're a beginner with highlighting, I'd highly recommend the Benefit cream ones because they're easy to apply and they kind of look good on everyone. The first highlighter I ever used was the High Beam and I just used that for prom cause I didn't wear makeup back then and they didn't make good drugstore makeup when I was in high school. I didn't apply it myself... but I could have... and this is probably even easier to apply and I think it would work better on more people. Its basically the same color as Mac's Soft and Gentle but its a cream. Lol.
2) Lorac Unzipped Cheek Palette- This palette is so good! I've been testing out the Unzipped palettes to do reviews on them and this is the one I really can't put down! I love all the colors and the different finishes and the way that they last on the cheeks. They're just great blushes and I think this set is a great value overall.
3) Elf Mist and Set Setting Spray- I have so many setting sprays that I've neglected this, but its really good. And even drugstore setting sprays are so expensive and this is really inexpensive and I like it a lot. It sprays a little weird, but I still love it. Its definitely a favorite this week.
4) Bareminerals Mineral Veil Powder- I'm not much of a powder person, but this one is just really great. And I Like my Elf HD powder, but this just makes me feel like there's a filter on my face and it makes me feel flawless and I just really like it. It looks great with BB Cream, but it looks good on its own too. I'm just really liking it lately.
5) Origins Drink Me Up Overnight Mask- This is amazing if you have dry skin. I have dry patches on my chin... and this still ends up looking kind of dry in the morning, but it helps it go down a lot, it doesn't hurt quite as much and it doesn't make my foundation look cakey when I wear makeup over it. Its pretty good!
6) Ulta Cream Eyeshadow in Rose Gold- I've been wearing the Lorac Unzipped palette a lot and this is what I like using as my base for that. This is really nice, these can dry kind of fast and they're hard to use when they aren't quite as creamy... but if you like soft rose gold shades, this works well to give it a foiled sort of look.
7) Chapstick Total Hydration Lip Balm- This is my favorite lip balm ever. I have the flavor sweet peach... I'm like halfway done with this lip balm, which never happens to me. Chapstick is one of my favorite lip balm brands and these are my #1 recommendation of their stuff. They have fun holiday flavors also... but they're awesome!
8) Dove Dry Shampoo- I couldn't find my Batiste so I saw this at the Drugstore and it was like $3 and so far so good, it smells a little funky... I kind of like it. It smells mostly clean to me. I use this before going to bed that way my curls kind of hold. A little bit at least... and it works well. I think I'll update more on this after I use it more... maybe I'll do an empties... which I don't like doing... lol. But maybe I'll try just for this.
Alrighty that is it! Hope you guys like it!
