Sephora Sale: What's On My Shopping List?
With the Sephora Sale this week... I thought I'd share what's on my shopping list right now. I'm probably not going to buy all of these things because dat's expensive... but here's an idea of the things I'm thinking about and things you may see in upcoming reviews or hauls... so yeah.
Now I just got a few eyeshadow palettes... and I'm hoping The Balm does their Veteran's Day Flash Sale this year and I want to get The Balm of Your Hand palette as well... so I'm going to try to stay away from those... but I swatched the Buxum shadows and they are absolutely amazing. This was on my list initially... but then I ordered the Lorac Unzipped collection... and I don't really want to overwhelm myself. If you're looking for ideas though, those shadows are great.
I do have one eyeshadow on my list though... idk how easy this will be to find... but I want the Nars Steven Klein Shadow in Stud. This is a pretty basic color... it probably looks exactly like Stila's Kitten and all those millions of other dupes... but its a limited edition Nars shadow and those are super popular and I know I'll want it if I can't get it.
I do have a sets on my list... some are ltd and others aren't so LTD.
The one that isn't a holiday set is the Too Faced Little Black Book of Bronzers. This came out during the summer and I thought it was a lot of money just for Bronzers, which I don't tend to wear that often... but the more I thought about it, the more I was like "well I want to try the Sun Bunny Bronzer... and The Snow Bunny Bronzer looks pretty... and the Pink Leopard one seems really nice." and at that point, its more expensive to buy all 3 of those instead of this one palette... plus I wouldn't be able to ever get through a full mini size, let alone a full size... so this seems to make sense.
Another Cheek set I'm looking at is the Tarte Bling it On Blush Set... I've tried a few Tarte blushes that are in some of their eyeshadow palettes and one mini that I got in a Sephora Inside JCPenny favorites... and other than the Lorac Unzipped Cheek palette... these are the best! So I think getting a full palette of them would be a great value.
I'm also thinking of getting the Sephora Favorites Dry Shampoo set. This is $32 and comes with 7 good sizes of 7 popular dry shampoos. I like wearing these before going to bed because it keeps my curls more in tact. I've heard great things about the Living Proof, Amica and Bumble and Bumble... and the minis of those... again... probably cost more than the set itself... so this is probably a good deal and I know I'd use them all up.
And last but not least of all the sets the Elizabeth and James Nirvana White Set. I got a rollerball of the Nirvana White as a 100 Point Perk and I absolutely love it. It smells nice on me... and the set is a good value. Its the same price as a Full Size of Nirvana White, and it comes with a smaller size of that, a smaller size of the Oil and a rollerball of the perfume. The rollerball is the same size as the point perk... so idk if that's the best thing... but its good. This is the one thing I've been wanting for a while... and this was the only thing I was going to get... but now idk even... I probably will get it... but maybe not because there is so much stuff I want... and there are other fragrances I kind of like too and it takes me forever to get through one... so this may be the one thing I definitely buy... or the first thing to go... lol. I may just get a rollerball instead cause I know I'll use the rollerball... idk. Lol. This is like the one thing I wanted and now I'm sort of like "I could live my life without this."
The Nirvana White Dry Shampoo is also on this because it would go with the fragrance and if I don't get the dry shampoo set, I may get this... I may just wait till a small size of this is available though... idk.
One thing I'm really thinking of getting is the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation. My friend Cristina got this and it looked really good on her and she liked it a lot... so I may want to try it too. It lasted nicely on her too... she wore it on Halloween. Plus this would be a fun First impression or review to do on here... so this is one thing I think I'll definitely get.
Another thing I'll probably get because of my friend Cristina is the Too Faced Lip Insurance Primer. This lasted on her all through halloween. She ate a little bit, she drank water, she kissed her boyfriend and her lipstick didn't budge.
She also wore a Kat Von D matte lipstick. I want the one in Nosferatu. I know these are probably hard to find... but I love the color and I love the name. I'm a sucker for all things Dracula... so this is quite cool. I want to try it if its in stock anywhere. I'd try another color from her... I'm sure I'll find something I like... but I want Nosferatu most. This I could wait for because its not super expensive... but I'd like it now. Lol.
Another lipstick on my list is the Nars Chelsea Girl Gloss. This looks pretty and I like Nars a lot. I think its permanent, so I guess I could always get this... but yeah. This looks nice.
One thing I wanted last time Sephora had a sale, but couldn't find is the Sephora Formula X Transformers Topcoat in the matte version. This is something I guess if I can find I could get it whenever, it isn't super expensive. But I want a matte topcoat and I've heard this is the best. Although I don't particularly like the Sephora Formula X things I've tried.
And last but not least, the Origins Charcoal Mask which is awesome. I tried this once a few years ago in little pods... which they are still selling, so if you want to sample them... try that maybe... but I just really like this mask and I think it works well for dry skin because it isn't as harsh as most charcoal things. It's probably good for oily or combo too because Charcoal is supposed to be good for that.
And... that's everything I'm thinking of getting. I just wanted to give you guys some ideas and it also kind of helped me realize what I really wanted and what I kind of wanted and what I needed. So... yeah. This is helpful to do if you have a blog and can't figure out what you want. You can talk yourself out of a few things... but I feel like I'll probably just stick to these things and try not to get anything different.
And there's also a Tarte brush set that I'm really thinking of getting... lol I'm bad I know... but Brushes are something you always kind of need right?
I think I'm going to ask for a sample of the Becca Backlight Primer because I want to try it, but don't want to commit to the full size yet!
