Haul: Sephora VIB, Bath and Body Works

So it was the Sephora 20% off VIB Sale and I needed to stop and get a few things... and I went to Bath and Body Works and I did an exchange at Ulta... thats sort of a fail but whatever. I'll make it work!

Sephora 

I'll start off with the Sephora stuff because that's the most exciting. 

First I picked up the Tarte Blush Palette because this was one of the things I knew I for sure 100% wanted and I thought it would sell out if I didn't pick it up right then and there. And its gorgeous. I love tarte blushes, I'll probably do a review or something about this... this is hard to find now, its sold out at Sephora online, there were plenty in my store and I think they'll restock it. It is only available at Sephora and not on Tarte's website even... but the packaging is gorgeous, I've heard good things about the palette and Tarte blushes (and Lorac) are my favorites. 

Next I went over to Too Faced and I picked up a Born This Way Foundation. I've been wanting to try this since it came back. I got the shade Porcelain... I think this is the right shade for me. I kind of needed to get out in a little bit of a hurry and I wasn't able to get help from anyone. But this color looked like it was a match, I think its one of the lightest shades... which is usually what I am and its more cool toned than the others. I've heard this is amazing and its great for dry skin. Plus its pretty full coverage... and I just like Too Faced. So I'm excited to try this. I will do a first impression with this and some of the other things too. 

And then I got the Lip Insurance Lip Primer. I've talked about why I wanted this before. My friend Cristina has it and she loves it, so I wanted to try it for myself. It looked great on her and lasted all night so... thats cool. 

And last but not least... I knew I was going to get this in some way shape or form but I got the gift set with the Nirvana White perfume. This set is $75 and it comes with the $60 size of perfume, a mini rollerball and the perfume oil in a mini size I believe. I think this is a great value. I love this scent, it just smells really girly and good on me lol. Its feminine and different than anything I own. It lasts a little better on me as well.

And then I went to Staten Island to try on Bridesmaids dresses and we wanted to get lunch up there but it was still too early for lunch after we got done trying on the dresses... so we killed some time at the mall there and of corse I looked in their sephora. I wanted to see if they had that Tarte Brush set and they didn't... But they did have the Sephora Favorites Extend Your Style Dry Shampoo set! So I got that.

This comes with travel sizes of the Amika, Sally Hershberger, Living Proof, Drybar, Bamboo Style, Klorane and Bumble and Bumble. I've heard amazing things about the Amika, Living Proof, Klorane and Bumble and Bumble... so I'm pretty excited about this! Hopefully it helps my curls a little bit! 

Bath and Body Works 

Here I got a few of the body sprays. They always have Buy 3 get 2 free or Buy 2 get one free. I got 3 of the fragrances. 

First I got the new fragrance Be Joyful. This is a really really sweet fragrance. I think it reminds me of like Prada Candy or Pure Seduction or something like that... but more Candy ish. Its really fruity. I'm not always attracted to that, but this one was just really nice. This is a complicated scent so I'm going to put the notes in here... Top Notes are Fizzy Clementine, Winter Melon and Sparkly Mango. Mid Notes are Blooming Honeysuckle and Frosted Jasmine. Dry Notes are Dulce De Leche, Golden Amber and Shimmering Sugar. I like it. 

I also got an oldie, but a goodie... Vanilla Bean Noel. The packaging for this this year is my absolute favorite. I have a mini size of this and I just wanted the full size. It's probably my favorite of the holiday scents, I wear it all year long. Its just really nice and smells great. Just Vanilla. You don't need more of a description than that. Lol. 

And then my favorite is Wrapped In Comfort. This is described as Almond Creme and Cashmere. This is a lot like Cashmere Glow but with almond... which I love because Almond is my favorite scent. This actually smells really good with the Nirvana White Perfume also, I may grab a few of the lotions just because those work so well together. I had Nirvana White on one hand and the lotion on the other and it was just really nice together. 

Then the next day they had $3 body lotions, so I got 2 of the Wrapped in Comfort lotions and one Be Joyful. I liked the way Wrapped in Comfort smelled with the Nirvana White perfume.

Ulta 

So I'm kind of an idiot here... lol. I went to exchange an eyeliner in Copper, which I talked about in my Ulta and TJ Maxx Haul. And I thought I was getting a really pretty brightening highlighting liner for the water line... but it was a lipliner. And its like a brown lip liner. Its the same Slide on Glide on Turn on liner but evidently they have eyeliners and lip liners. This is the color Sugar Glass and I was like "OMG This is a straight up brown, I'm going to hate it." I love it! And the formula of these is amazing... I want to pick more up now and try the eyeliners because this one is so smooth and creamy. I love it. And this Ulta was different from the last one and actually sealed their Nyx eyeliners! I'm so happy! Lol. 

And I never would have picked this color up as a lip liner... but it looks really good. So go out of your comfort zone sometimes!
