Monday Musts: 11/23/15
Alrighty! I feel like I just did my weekly favorites because I posted it on Wednesday... but that's just because I wanted to put up my Sephora Haul while the sale was still going on... so we will be returning to Mondays and... yeah.
1) Too Faced Born This Way Foundation- So I have been really liking this since I bought it. I haven't used it much... and I have a first impression of it coming up and I'll do a fuller review... but this is a nice foundation with a nice finish and it lasts a long time and it just looks so nice on. So far I like it. I'm excited to try it out a little more and let you guys know about it. It's a $40 foundation and thats a little crazy... but it works better than other foundations I've tried... so there is that. Lol.
2) Lorac Unzipped Gold- I feel like each week I've had one of these Lorac Unzipped palettes on the list... which is accurate because I have... but they're good. I did a really nice look with this that I'm actually posting as part of a style saturday. I also used it with my look from Tuesday... and its just an awesome palette. Its really unique too because I don't have any of these shades of gold, and it is just so gold! If you are a gold lover, this is the palette for you. I wouldn't even think about it, I'd just say if you're a gold lover... these golds are for you. This palette is awesome and its really good. I like it!
3) Tarte Bling it on blush set- Another spoiler... but I love this palette. Its got such great long wearing shade. I find it a little easier to use blush palettes than individual blushes... I don't know if I love it as much as the Lorac Unzipped Cheek palette... but if you were wondering whether or not to get this set... go for it. It's amazing.
4) Colourpop's Lumiere- This is such a pretty lip color! I hadn't used it in a while, but I saw Kathleen wear the lippie pencil of Lumiere in a video... and I was like "I need her lip color in my life!" And then I read the description and saw that I had it in my life! And I've been using it quite a lot since then! Its such a good color, a great neutral. It makes me remember how much I like their lip products... and maybe I should try some more soon... We'll see Cyber Monday... lol. I think these would make good gifts too because its not like you could just go to the store and buy colourpop.
I also had a dream that I was friends with Kathleen and then my mom was asking about her and I showed her the colourpop quad and was like "she made this quad" and my mom was really excited and happy!
5) Elf Smudge Pot in Brownie Points and Wet N Wild Bohemian Wrap-sody Trio- These work pretty well together. I have a look coming up in a few weeks with this combo... but I really like the way that they look together! I used the middle shade in the Wet n Wild trio with the smudge pot and its really nice looking. The Wet N Wild trio isn't the same quality as the other shadows... its glittery and kind of gritty... but it still looks really nice on the lids and with this smudge pot its just a nice, quick and easy look!
6) Too Faced Lip Insurance Lip Primer- I feel like this makes my lipstick last longer and its great for matte lipsticks and red lipsticks. It works a little better than a lip liner because it kind of makes your lips nice and smooth and it lasts a long time. Today I wore a red lipstick, so I used it with a lipliner... but it works without it too. Its all good.
And I think that is everything!
