Top 5 Friday: Top 10 Under 10
So today I'm going to cheat and not do Top 5 but Top 10 for $10 and other... there are so many great things for this price range that... you can find a little bit of whatever you want here... so yeah.
1) Elf Blush Palette in Light- For some reason, a lot of my favorite blushes come in palettes and this is no exception. These are all really soft and pigmented and I stop using these for long periods of time but then when I pick it up again I'm like "where have you been all my life." And I keep on using it. They're very soft and easy to blend and its a good selection of colors. They have a darker one too that I haven't tried yet, but I kind of want to and I hope they are just as good. It doesn't really matter which skintone you are for blush, I think these would show up nicely on deeper skin tones and the dark one doesn't look so dark that it would look bad on. These are like $8 they have them at any elf stand I think and also online. Love them!
2) Elf Contour Palette- This is really good too! They have good kits. It took me a while to get into using it just because I'm not much of a contour-er. It looks good but it isn't something I really take the time to do a ton... so I wouldn't spend a bunch of money on a contour palette when this one works just as well. The highlights in this are really great and the contour and bronzers are great. It comes with a nice sized mirror... I haven't used it in a while, but it is really easy and I do love it! Again $8... idk if this is in stores yet, but it is on their website and they always have a ton of great deals and stuff... so yeah.
3) Makeup Revolution Romantic Smokey Palette- This palette is really awesome. It's only $7 and in my opinion, its probably just as good as Urban Decay and Too Faced... if not even better. There's a lot less fallout, its just as pigmented and has just as nice of a color selection. This one reminded me of the now discontinued Too Faced Romantic Eye Palette, they have other ones that look like total dupes for each of the Naked palettes, they have dupes for the Lorac Pro palettes and some of the too faced Chocolate bars coming soon it looks like. Its just really well done, easy to use and I love all the looks I've come up with with this. And I haven't used this in a while, but its a great affordable palette... so I need to do that! This is on Ulta's website and I know they sell this brand on their website and in drugstores in the UK I believe... its a UK brand idk if its at drugstores there... but you can find it there.
4) Maybelline Lip Products- I have yet to meet a Maybelline Lip Product that I don't like... so I'm just lumping them together here. I have one from their Color Sensational Line, their color blurs, their rebel blooms, a bunch of baby lips, a matte and a few color elixirs... and they're all really good. They're all really comfortable and don't stray outside of the lip line or anything. I just like them. If I want to get a lipstick from the drugstore, its probably Maybelline cause they are just awesome. I couldn't just pick one, so I went with the whole line. Lol.
5) Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Concealer- This stuff is awesome! I'm really picky with concealers and I wasn't really expecting to like this... but I bought the foundation and it was BOGO Half... so I thought I might as well pick this up too... and its awesome. I usually use this with the Benefit Erase Paste, but in a hurry, this looks good without that also. I also think that it really does make the skin a little better. When I use it on a blemish, usually the blemish goes down a little... so I like that about it.This is just a good one to use and I really like it!
6) Sephora Brand Tinted Lip Balms- Something from Sephora made it to this list! I Have one of the Sephora Brand tinted lip balms that are in the little ball shape. I think I got mine on sale for $2... I think they're normally $8... but these are awesome. I have the shade Melon which is a light orange color. Its more pigmented than baby lips but not crazy... and its probably a little more moisturizing. I think these would make an awesome gift if you were going to give this to someone. Its a cute stocking stuffer type of thing and they're really fun.
7) Ulta's Amped Lashes Mascara- This is my favorite mascara of all time. I'm using another mascara right now... and i just don't like it nearly as much as this... so this one is just going to be a constant re-purchase for me. I'm going to try to go three months without it while I try to go back to the L'oreal Butterfly Intenza... but I like this one more. It gives a lot of length, and its good on the volume too. This is $10 its totally underrated and I love it.
I'm also going to mention the Rain Coat Top Coat, which just makes any mascara waterproof. They have a waterproof version of this... but I prefer to have the Waterproof Topcoat.
8) L'oreal Evercream Nourishing Leave In Spray- This stuff is seriously amazing. It reminds me of the Its a 10 Miracle conditioners... but this is wayyy better. It helps detangle my hair, lately I've been using it in between washes to just make my hair a little more conditioned and it prevents itch. Its a great multi-purpose spray that I never really hear anyone talk about and I kind of love it... so that's definitely a favorite.
9) Soap And Glory Rich and Foamous Shower Gel- This is such a nice shower gel. I feel like it really moisturizes and you don't need a ton for it to sud up nicely and get a good clean... and the smell is just amazing. I can't get enough of it... and I really just like it a lot. It has an almond and oat smell and its just really good.
10) Nyx Slide on Glide on Lip Liner- I just got this and I got it accidentally thinking that it was an eye liner... I don't think I ever would have bought this on my own but its a gorgeous color. I think the color is called Sugar Spun or something? Idk. It felt amazing on and it looked absolutely gorgeous and now I want to buy more of these lip liners and eye liners!
And I haven't used this for real yet... I'll update you guys when I do, but it is so nice and creamy, if you want a comfortable lipliner, this is the most comfortable. And you could just wear this alone too!
