Best Cruelty Free Make Up: Eyes

So a few months ago I posted something about Cruelty free make up... which is basically most of the eye products I have... so I thought I would share my favorite eye products that are cruelty free. Both Drugstore and High end. I found my info at this blog. I think they're really helpful and they have a nice list of cruelty free brands and cruelty free drugstore finds.

I'm going to start with my newest fave first... this is from the drugstore, but its a little pricier and might be hard to find. Its the Pixi Ultimate Beauty Kit 2nd Edition. It has 40 shadows and 12 blushes its on sale at Target and Pixi's website for $17 now... I have several posts about it. I wasn't sure if it was cruelty free or not at the time, but it is! Really nice palette, I've talked about it a lot this week already and it might not be that readily available... so I'll stop. Lol.

I'm also just going to give a quick mention to Tarte's Bon Voyage palette because this is another fave of mine that is limited edition and probably not available anymore... but Tarte has the Tartelette palette now, which I'm sure is a similar formulation, its all matte and the Matte shadows in this palette were excellent. Also they have new ones every holiday season, so maybe wait for next years. Lol.

And my third LTD Edition is my favorite palette... possibly 2nd favorite after the Tarte one, they're pretty close... is the It Cosmetics Naturally Pretty Celebration palette. A lot of people don't love this... but I do. I find it super blendable and just really good to use. I came up with a lot of good looks with it. It is on sale right now on It Cosmetics website and they also have a coupon code for it too I believe, so you can get it for like $20 when it was originally $42. They also have another Natutrally Pretty Palette that is permanent and quite similar. And I think they have a more colorful one also. Really nice. I do like it. Its good.

The Naked 3 Palette from Urban Decay is also an amazing palette. Really fun for going out looks. Really nice rose gold colors if you like that... looks great with green eyes or Hazel Eyes and you could also use it for everyday... but it seems more like a party thing.

Too Faced is another Cruelty Free Brand! They have their Chocolate Bar Palette which is amazing and a lot of other good palettes too. Too Faced is one of my favorite High End Brands... idk why really, I just have tried a lot of their products and I've had more hits than misses. So that is good.

And for a less expensive palette option, the Coastal Scents Revealed Palette is pretty dang awesome. It has 20 shades, all Naked 1 and Naked 2 dupes and the Revealed 2 palette is similar to the Naked 3. These are good eyeshadows, I think there is a little more fallout than Urban Decay and its a little more hit and miss than UD... but the quality is pretty on par. These are only available online, which kind of sucks cause shipping is expensive... but they have a lot of sales and I got mine for under $20 with shipping... which is cool, especially because it has so many shades. I really need to use this more often cause it doesn't get enough love... but its good nonetheless.

And back to the drugstore... Nyx, Elf, Wet n Wild and Milani are all cruelty free brands with some great eyeshadows. I have a few Nyx palettes that I love, and they're kind of hit or miss with their colors... but they are all workable. Elf has some really good palettes. I have their beauty book and I also have heard amazing things about their prism palette and even some of their single shadows. Good brand. Wet N Wild probably has some of the best eyeshadows of the drugstore... really great really affordable eyeshadows that I really love. And the Milani Bella Eyes are quite fantastic as well.

For Primers, I pretty much always use my UD Primer Potion and if not my Too Faced Candelight and Champagne shadow insurance primers. The UD is best for actually making your make up last all day. If you want really longwearing eyeshadows This primer and the Tarte eyeshadows or UD eyeshadows are great for that.

And I've only tried a few cruelty free mascaras, The Physician's Formula Jumbo whatever in the green leaf tube is really really good. It flakes a little, but overall really good. The Too Faced Better than sex, I've tried in a sample size... meh. I've heard the full size is better than the samples... but I don't think its better than Chocolate even... so yeah lol. And the Tarte Lights Camera Lashes, I really really liked. Its good for volumizing and yeahhhh. I'd definitely recommend the Physicians formula because its drugstore and it is really really good. Lol.

I don't think I've tried any cruelty free liners... wait actually I have a sample of the Kat Von D tattoo liner... I don't like it as much as the Stila Liquid eyeliner... but they're really really similar and Stila is not cruelty free and Kat Von D is... so yeah. If you want to stick for cruelty free, get Kat Von D... that should be her slogan. Lol.

So yeah, I just thought this post was kind of fun and different. I've been pretty interested in Cruelty Free make up lately, even though I don't use all cruelty free brands, these are a few I do and they're really good.

Byee!
