January 2017 Favorites
Alright lots of favorites this month!
Number 1 favorite of the month are my Makeup Geek Shadows. After getting a large Tarte Palette and arranging them in a better way... I feel like I've rediscovered these and that I have a brand new fancy palette. This was the biggest Shop My Stash thing of the month... I really like the formula, especially of their mattes, foiled and duo chromes. I just really like these a lot! Totally Recommend.
Along the same lines as Makeup Geek Shadows are the new Pressed Powders from Colourpop! These are newer to me... but I've used them enough for them to be a monthly favorite. I love them! There's a lot to do with these colors that I got. I'll do a swatch and review on these soon... I'm doing something a little different in February... but expect it sometime in March maybe? I'll see what happens... might order some more even... idk. I just really like these! They're nice!
Next up: Colourpop Ultra matte and Ultra Satin lipsticks... these are just really good for me. I got a few recently because I order a lot from Colourpop around the holidays and I've just really been liking wearing them. One notable one is the Ultra Satin lip in Femme. It's purple... I did a look with that right here. I like the more simple ones like Bumble or Dopey too... but I just like the formula a lot. It works well for me.
One that I think I included last month too were the Jouer Longlasting Lip Creams. I've been using them a lot recently too. I used Tawny Rose a lot this month because I just recently got that. Very pretty and super comfortable too. I like the metallic ones also... just a lot of good looks with these. I like them a lot!
For my face I've been loving the Fiona Stiles Illuminating Foundation Concentrate! I did a lot of posts on this foundation... so I won't get too into it... but it's pretty versatile. You can use it so many different ways and I just really like it a lot!
For blush what I've mostly been using is the Becca Blushed With Light Palette. I just like blush palettes for some reason and the formula of these are just really great! Lasts a long time, the formula is really nice and the colors are pretty great.
And the Kathleenlights Highlight Palette from Makeup Geek! These looked scary to me... but it went on sale, so I thought it would be okay to buy...and I'm happy I did because it actually looks great on lighter skintones too! Plus it works well with the Blushed with light palette! I was very impressed and in love with this formula! I'd like to try more Makeup Geek Highlights.
The Royal and Langnickel brush set is pretty nice too! I found it at TJ Maxx... and it was missing a few brushes... but I really ended up liking it! They're great brushes that just work really well!
The Slapp from Grace Eleyae is great too! This is a beanie that you can put all your hair in to protect from the rain or to wear to bed so your hair looks nice and not tangled in the morning... I mostly wear it to bed because my hair kind of de-curls if I pull it up before going to bed... so I don't have to put it up... but it will stay curly and detangled. I love it! I'll probably do a review on this soon!
I think that is pretty much everything! Hope you guys liked this!
