Frugal, Fancy, Fragrance, Fashion, Favorite Fridays! 5.12.17

Happy Fri-yay everyone… let’s just get right into the favorites. Not a favorite… the word Fri-yay… never really liked that phrase… but it’s a thing and we’re going with it. 

Frugal 

Drugstore Favorite for the week is the Ulta Matte Eye Primer… idk why I haven’t talked about this yet… but this has been my favorite thing lately to use under my eye makeup. It works pretty well with all eyeshadows… I think I want to try an anti aging primer because I feel like that might help me more… my eyes have gotten smaller with age I think… so that’s why I’m thinking anti aging will work… but yeah. This is my favorite underrated drugstore product of the week! 

Fancy 

I’ve got 2 fancy favorites this week! I’m excited for it! 

First off… my skin has been very dry this week… I used like 4 kinds of oils at once and that was a terrible idea… lol. But that dried my face and one of them helped my makeup look better… and that is the Custom Infusion drops from Cover Fx. I got the Hydration ones, they also have Anti Aging, Calming, and Radiance… I feel like those are all fancy words that kind of mean the same thing… but they do have different ingredients, so they do different things. Anyway this has made my makeup look really good this week! I just mix it in with my foundation and use my foundation brush to spread it around- just like with the custom enhancer drops and it helps a lot. My chin really looked a lot less dry because of these drops… really great! Highly recommend! 

Another favorite product of the High End Variety… The Urban Decay Jean Michel Basquait Gold Griot Palette… this is just a really great neutral palette… I’ll have a review on this soon… I’m trying to do a review with the Tenant Palette from the same collection… I’ve already gathered my opinions on the Gold Griot… I just need to try the Tenant a little bit more! So… soon on Worth it Wednesday! Lol. 

Fragrance 

Another Oud from Juliette Has A Gun… I know I’ve been talking about this Discovery Set a lot… but I’d like to do a review on this also. Another Oud probably isn’t one I would buy on it’s own… but I do really like how it smells! It’s unique and kind of sweet… but still perfumey. I had misplaced my favorites… so I had been using Lady Vengeance and this one… Lady Vengeance is great and probably more popular… which is why I want to show love to Another Oud. Lol. It’s a great smell! I love it! 

Fashion 

We have an Outfit of The Day! The Top is from Old Navy, The Sweater is Gap Outlets, the Earrings are Betsey Johnson and the Necklace is from a local boutique called Sunshine Daydream (I’m positive that’s wear… I’ve had these for years actually.) They’re just fake pearls with some pink stones and some pearly stones. I like it a lot! It’s actually broken now… hopefully I can repair it a little! 

Like my sink? Lol.

Favorite

Girlboss on Netflix! That is such a great show! I loved watching it… I’m doing a review on my other blog for that… so check out Scribbles About Life for that… and it’s just absolutely great! It’s fun to watch. If you like fashion, if you remember 2006-2008… you’ll just have a lot of fun watching this show! Sooo sooo great! 

This poster is badass. Probably the best #netflixandchill show right now.
